El Capitola has been honored with a Special Mention in the Private Homes category of the 2025 International Architecture Awards.

Now in its 20th year, The International Architecture Awards are organized by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, along with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, to honor the best, most significant new buildings, landscape architecture, and planning projects by the world’s leading designers practicing nationally and internationally.
