W/K HELSINKI PROPOSAL HONORED WITH 2025 ARCHITIZER VISION AWARD

Thank you to Architizer for recognizing our proposed design for the Helsinki New Museum of Architecture and Design with a 2025 Vision Award Special Mention.

Our design was one of eight recognized globally in the Vision for Culture category, which rewards unbuilt projects that reimagine museums, theaters, libraries, and other cultural venues—whether through cutting-edge digital experiences, new models for community engagement, or radical reinterpretations of traditional typologies.

Fundamental to our concept is an ethos of openness and invitation, reimagining the role of the museum in the life of the city by transforming it from a cloistered repository into an open, permeable civic experience.

About the Award:
The Vision Awards recognize the radical ideas shaping the future of the built environment. By celebrating imaginative urban solutions, groundbreaking housing models, and speculative public architecture, the program empowers designers, thinkers and creators to explore the power of architectural concepts as a tool for innovation.
