EL CAPITOLA RECOGNIZED WITH 2025 AMERICAN ARCHITECTURE AWARD

We're thrilled to share that El Capitola has been recognized with a 2025 American Architecture Award by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum for Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

Designed for a collector of restored midcentury cars, El Capitola is an homage to the bravado, optimism, and grit of Jet Age car culture, reimagined through the lens of modern residential design. The home’s architecture celebrates invention, craft, and the beauty of engineering within a clean, understated framework.
